SunSirs: China’s Rare Earth Market Price Index Rose on October 12

  The Rare Earth Index was 610 points on October 12, which was a 39.00% decrease from the cycle high of 1,000 points (2011-12-06), and an increase of 125.09% from the low of 271 points on September 13, 2015. (Note: Period refers to 2011-12-01 till now).

  The domestic rare earth index is rising. The price of domestic light rare earth praseodymium and neodymium series has increased. The price of praseodymium neodymium oxide has risen 3000 yuan/ton to 605,500 yuan/ton, the price of praseodymium neodymium metal is 747,500 yuan/ton, and the price of praseodymium oxide increased by 17,500 yuan. The price of neodymium oxide rose by RMB 2500/ton to RMB 630,000/ton, the price of metal praseodymium rose by RMB 12,500/ton to RMB 872,500/ton, and the price of neodymium metal rose by RMB 2,000/ton. 777,000 yuan/ton, the price of dysprosium oxide increased by 15,000 yuan/ton to 2.76 million yuan/ton, the price of dysprosium ferroalloy increased by 10,000 yuan/ton to 2.725 million yuan/ton, and the price of dysprosium metal increased by 20,000 yuan/ton to 3.535 million RMB/ton, some prices in the domestic light rare earth market have risen, and recent purchases are general. The price trend of praseodymium and neodymium is mainly stable. Recently, the price of dysprosium and terbium in the domestic heavy rare earth market has risen. Exports are banned, and the price trend of the domestic rare earth market is expected to rise slightly in the future.
