How to choose the cobalt plating formula?

Under normal circumstances, the stress of cobalt plating is relatively high. The composition and operating conditions of a low-stress cobalt plating solution are as follows:

Cobalt sulfamate 450 g/L

Formamide 30mL/L

Sodium lauryl sulfate 0.3~0.5g/L

Temperature 40℃+10℃

Current density 3.0~5.0A/dm2

Stress reliever (saccharin) 1～1..5g/L

The following solution composition and operating conditions can be used for the decorative coating:

Cobalt sulfate 350~500g/L

Boric acid 30~45g/L

Cobalt chloride 45g/L

Formaldehyde 10~15mI/L

Cadmium sulfate 0.5g/L

Saccharin l~1.5g/L

Temperature 40℃+10℃

Current density 2~4A/dm2
