The role of hooks in electroplating hangers

The function of the hook is to connect a bridge between the hanging workpiece and the cathode conductive rod, and its form has its own requirements. For example, the hanging tool and the hanging workpiece are lighter, and the solution is compressed. If the air is stirred or the cathode is moved, the form shown in Figure 2-11 to Figure 2-13 should be considered to be tightened to ensure good contact between the hanger and the cathode copper rod, so that the current can flow smoothly and reduce power consumption. During the electroplating process, it is necessary to avoid the occurrence of power-off accidents. The formation of double-layer plating due to power-off occurs from time to time.

The solid form of the hook in the plating hanger

In terms of cross-sectional area, in addition to the current intensity required to smoothly pass through a hanging workpiece, the load of the loaded workpiece must also be considered to prevent it from being deformed and falling into the groove.

For general static plating and the hook of the hanger used in the pretreatment process, the fastening form shown in Figure 2-14 ~ Figure 2-16 can be used. Figure 2-14 is attached with a lifting rod for heavy hanging Pieces of equipment. It saves much effort when operating with this lever.
