【Function】Glabridin has the effect of antibacterial anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-aging, UV absorption, skin whitening, freckle. It is one of the main flavonoids of Glycyrrhiza glabra in the class composition, glabridin whitening effect is mainly realised by the inhibition of tyrosinase and dopachrome tautomerase (TRP-2) activity, it inhibit 5,6 – two hydroxy indole (DHl) polymerization, in order to prevent the formation of melanin, so as to achieve the effect of skin whitening. It shows the anti free radical oxidation effect is very strong in the cytochrome P450/NADPH oxidation system, could obviously inhibit the process of the new supersedes the old.
