Single-layer graphene oxide (GO) powder is produced from single-layer GO aqueous solutions with the same concentration. The GO aqueous solution, . The GO solution is fabricated by sonicating the graphite oxide in water. The graphite oxide is produced through optimized Staudenmair method.
The GO powder is extracted from this solution by removing water. Compared to the GO synthesized through Hummer method, which is generally employed by most GO providers, our product, DING-GO1, has much more single-layer sheets. Most importantly, our GO powder is solid product, and it is monodispersed according to its FESEM image. DING-GO1 can be easily re-dispersed into single-layered graphene oxide sheets in aqeous solutions.

These AFM,EM and TEM images indicate that our GO product has single-layered carbon sheets without carbon nanoparticles or other contaminations.
